ROOM PARENT GUIDELINES

Locate your teacher's favorite things and share with your class!

Each classroom can be reimbursed $75 from PTA. Reimbursement Form must be submitted before Friday, April 11, 2025.

The “Boo Buddy” will deliver goodies to the classroom on Oct 31st.  As room parent you can be the Boo Buddy or recruit other parents to help.  Grade Level Captains will coordinate with the lead teacher on what types of gifts are best, when a good delivery time is and how many students are in the class. All classes in your grade level should be giving out the same items.

Pre-K: Snowmen

K: Milk & Cookies

1st: Candyland

2nd: Arctic Animals

3rd: Polar Express

4th: TX

5th: Argyle 

Tree decorating: Thursday, Nov. 21

Ornament take down: Friday, Dec. 13

Grade Level Room Parent Captains should meet with the teachers at least two weeks before the scheduled party date to determine the teachers’ wishes for the parties (food, games, decorations, crafts, activities, etc.).  Please respect the teachers’ wishes, even if it’s not exactly what you had in mind. 

Dates for Winter Parties: 

K, 2nd, 4th: Dec 17th

PreK, 1st, 3rd, 5th: Dec 18th

Valentine’s Day will be celebrated on Thursday, February 13, 2025 since there is no school on the 14th. Students are welcome to make a Valentine’s box at home to bring up to school. Grade Level Captains will coordinate with the lead teacher on when Valentine’s boxes should be brought in.

May 5th-9th.  

The Hospitality Committee will provide a letter explaining the week’s activities.  Your job is to get this information out to the classroom parents.
