Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is a nationally recognized, non-profit, father involvement initiative under the direction of the National Center for Fathering. The program encourages dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other father figures to become more involved in schools. The men who volunteer serve as positive male role models for our students while enhancing our security. Volunteers commit to helping at least one entire school day each year. On their day of participation, Watch D.O.G.S. report to the school office wearing their Watch D.O.G.S. T-shirts so that they are easily identifiable.

Volunteers spend their day helping with morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, reading with students, working on flashcards, playing at recess, eating lunch with students, and monitoring entrances and hallways. They have scheduled time to be with their kids, but they spend most of their day mentoring others.
